PASTEL PORTRAITS

My Mum has been busy painting/drawing again lately, the bears have gone on hold for the time being. I thought you might like to have a look at a couple of pastel portraits that she has done this last week or so. She is doing four for a lady, 2 West Highland Terriers - "Alfie" and "Lilly" and two cats  - "Thomas" a white/tabby shorthair male and "Smudge" a black/white longhair male. She has completed two so far "Alfie" and "Thomas" which you can see below. They have now been matted and framed.

    Casper Bear! I learned of you from my friend, Sam at 'How Sam Sees It." I just posted today about my diagnosis of hip dysplasia. My family knew I had some problem back in November, 2011, but back then the doctor could not find anything wrong during a physical exam. Back then I was having problems getting up from lying on the floor. The doctor told my mommy that it was probably behavioral, because he did not find any issue with my back legs at all. If you read my post today, you can learn more about the doctor's visit I had yesterday.

    I would love for you to contact my mommy -- I bet she would love to connect with someone going through a similar problem. You wanna know what? Besides us having something in common, our mommies have something in common too! They're both artists! :)
