Here's little ole' me having my ninth hydrotherapy session. I'm doing ten minutes a session now, with breaks of course.
My therapist gives me great toys to play with in the pool and I have great fun. I free swim now in the pool with regular breaks where I sit and rest on the platform. I can't wait to get back in!
Look at me go! I'm thinking of training for the Olympics hee hee!
My sessions have been dropped down to one every five days now and then will be once a week.
I wish I could go every day. I love it!!
Me having my shower after hydrotherapy. I am soooooo clean!
My muscles are so much stonger now that my therapist thinks I will not need hydrotherapy for too much longer. I am glad that my muscles are getting stronger as this may push the hip into place as I grow, but I will miss my hydrotherapy sessions. They're FUN!!

Casper that DOES look like fun!! I'm glad you're not going to NEED the sessions though - that's good news. Maybe when they're over you can go back now and then just fun a swim...
ReplyDeleteWags,
Zona
Thank you Zona! That's a good idea you had, I'll have to have a word with Mum.It's ok in the Summer cos I swim in the pond then but it's tooooo cold here in the Winter for swimming. I have another 12 sessions booked so I'll be having fun for a bit longer yet.

We just found your blog. Now we have to go back and read the old postings. We have a guest named Stella who will be having the hip operations soon. Thanks for telling us all about it. That swimming stuff in a warm pool looks like a real good reasson to not be afraid of the operation.

You look like you're really enjoying your hydrotherapy, Casper. Bummer that you can't go every single day.
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots

Hi Mogley! Thank you for visiting my blog.I hope Stella gets well very soon after her operation. I love the hydrotherapy but I'm not looking forward to my operation I must admit. I am only 8 months old yet and can't have the op until I'm fully grown as my bones are still developing AND there is a SMALL possibility that if it grows enough I may escape it! Phewww!! That would be good but I'm not holding my breath. It will be this time next year for me if my bones do not go into place properly.

Hi there Maggie & Mitch!
ReplyDeleteI sure do enjoy myself in hydrotherapy! it sure is a bummer that I can't go everyday. Too much would be bad for me my therapist says so I have to do as he says.
Love ya lots too

Wow Casper, you are a very good swimmer! I sure hope that water is nice and warm!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
We are catching up on your blog and have so many questions to ask - Mom will probably be sending you an e-mail to ask all of them!
ReplyDeleteSam
So glad that your muscle is getting stronger and you don't need that many sessions of hydrotherapy anymore. Although you're going to miss the fun of swimming, it also means you've made a good recovery for your legs. When you're fit and strong, your mom can take you to the beach in summer!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Casper,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your muscles are getting stronger...even though it means missing out on hydrotherapy !
Love from Bela and Ollie
