I have had my two Hydrotherapy sessions this week and am feeling Greeeaaaaat!! I had my best sessions so far this week and my walking has improved no end. The pain in my hips is getting less and less all the time, my supplements have been reduced, no pain killers, and I'm on Top Of The World!!
Looking forward to Howl-o-Ween' and my Pumpkin Mums' got hidden in the wardrobe!! Hee hee!
I haven't had much time this week to keep up with my blog. Busy, busy, busy!! I had hydrotherapy on Monday (pics in previous post) and also again on Thursday. It was quite hard work for me on Thursday but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I am having much less pain in my hips now and am able to walk much much better now with no pain killer medicine. My vet and therapist are really pleased with my progress so good news there! Mum forgot to take the camera on Thursday so no pics watching me splashing about sorry!
I am going to be busy over the half-term holiday so should have loads of pics to add from my adventures, so see ya soon! P.S. Did you see my Christmas Tree on the sidebar - only 63 days left to Christmas - My First Christmas! Am I looking forward to that!! Mums' making Christmas cards with me on wearing a Christmas hat - Soooo embarrassing!!
Here's me waiting in the car to go for my 3rd hydrotherapy session. I can't wait, been looking forward to it all week-end
Me in the pool
In the pool with Mike my therapist.
Watch me goooooo!! Full steam ahead! I'm coming towards you two's!
This is greeeeat!! I'm keeping my eyes on you Dad! Don't you go anywhere!
There's always a downside to everything isn't there! Do I really have to wear this silly hat to keep warm?
I have to keep warm when I come out of hydrotherapy, something to do with the muscles keeping warm, so the Mum & Dad make me wear my fleecy coat (don't mind that) but I draw the line at this beany! Awhh, come on Mum! Do you agree guys?
Me in the pool today having fun! My second hydrotherapy session. I ached a bit after but doing great! My therapist says that I can have one longer walk every day. Met one of my friends down the park earlier which was really nice, but I couldn't play as I'm not allowed to jump about. Next session is on Monday! Can't wait!!
I had my first Hydrotherapy session yesterday and I am feeling on top of the world! After just one session! I am able to walk better and I even ran this morning on my walk. I didn't look like an old man lol.
Here I am with Dad in my new fleecy polo neck coat Mum bought me to keep me warm, it's getting chilly now. You can see where the vet shaved my leg on Friday for the general anaesthetic for x-rays. I managed a longer walk today "whey hey" and even played with my WALES football. Things are looking up! I have another session on Friday at 10am and two every week for now, may drop to one a week depending on my progress. It was great fun and I had two therapists looking after me. Can't be bad yer!
